Walking Off the Big Apple Walks Again - Notes on the New NYC

We walk again. I left you last time a few years ago at the Moynihan Train Station.

Many changes have taken place in the city since then, and I am looking forward to sharing my observations with you.

Large development projects continue to shape how New Yorkers live and work. New attractions alter the ways visitors see the city. Transportation and food are two big themes.

The city continues to grow at the edges of the shoreline.

We'll take some slow walks through the new cultural and political landscapes.

I look forward to sharing more. For the meantime, Walking Off the Big Apple will be edited and archived. I will be adding links to favorite old posts.

For now, visit Pier 57 and grab some food at Market 57. Go up to the rooftop and look south. There you will see Little Island. On the left is the Whitney Museum. You could have a nice afternoon walking around these spots.

See you soon. - Teri
