Walking Off the Big Apple Walks Again - Notes on the New NYC

I left you last time a few years ago at the Moynihan Train Station.

Large development projects continue to shape how New Yorkers live and work. New attractions alter the ways visitors see the city. Transportation and food are two big themes.

The city continues to grow at the edges of the shoreline.

We may take some slow walks through the new cultural and political landscapes. Time will tell.

Walking Off the Big Apple is still here for those curious about the city's recent past.

For now, visit Pier 57 and grab some food at Market 57. Go up to the rooftop and look south. There you will see Little Island. On the left is the Whitney Museum. You could have a nice afternoon walking around these spots.

I'm still here. I spend a lot of time walking around Inwood looking at birds
