In a related item to the previous post, I found myself wrapped up in these pages yesterday and thusly delayed with my daily walk. I spent the afternoon at Think Coffee on Mercer St., eating lunch, drinking coffee and munching on a chocolate biscotti. I love that place, as it reminds me of a big comfortable college study hall. Many people come alone, in company with their laptops, and we all sit next to one another clicking away at the keyboards while we drink coffee.
Anyway, after dinner, I needed to walk off all that biscotti and blogging, so I went to Washington Square Park and walked around it a couple of times. Each lap around the perimeter is .51 miles, so I got in about a mile and a half before I was distracted by this big slide and light show about the life of Garibaldi that was happening in the middle of the park.
I spent my early bedtime hours staring at the ceiling on account of all the coffee.
At least I think I walked off at least part of the biscotti.
